My work has a distinct connection to the way I think about my life. Even though the mind only remembers fragments of memories or certain events that don’t pertain to each other, they are still connected, even if the connection takes years to form. Days flow from one to the next and one event sparks another and another and another. This unbroken chain of events keeps telling a person’s story until their last day and the line in my work does the same. It guides the person’s eye from one point to another until eventually the entire work has been observed, and it’s entire narrative has been told.
